See the word count as you write

Short answer: The status bar along the bottom of the Unmarked window shows a live word count for the document. It updates as you type, so delete a paragraph and the number drops to match.

Count characters or sentences instead

Click the count to choose what it shows: words (the default), characters, characters without spaces, or sentences. You can hide it from there too. Unmarked remembers what you picked.
